    Sturdy and inexpensive

    By Seth-ZcsR1

Comments about Universal Percussion UP197 Round Double-Braced Drum Throne:

This is pretty basic. It all screws together to become a solid seat. The seat diameter is slightly smaller than I expected, but works fine. There is no seat swivel. The height adjustment is by moving the screw up or down a hole position. I would purchase a higher end throne for gigs, but if you're going to set this up and leave it this is fine.

    Great throne for the price

    By Sarah-hH-u7

Comments about Universal Percussion UP197 Round Double-Braced Drum Throne:

I purchased this throne about 3 weeks ago. I was very impressed by it's quality despite it's price. Very stable and secure to sit on compared to the single braced thrones. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a great deal.

    Universal Percussion drum throne

    By Wayne Hughes

    from West Virginia

Comments about Universal Percussion UP197 Round Double-Braced Drum Throne:

This is a solid throne for the price. It would not hold up for playing clubs etc., but for home use or as a practice throne it works well. I weigh 240 lbs and it supports me. However, it is not a solid as it looks in the picture, but still a great throne.

Comments about Universal Percussion UP197 Round Double-Braced Drum Throne:

This throne is great for the price but after a while the plastic holdings cracked and broke off so I would advise you to not be too hard on it on wood floors.
