It will go anywhere you need to put it, it will stay and lock in place, it will give you any angle you need, it will even make you play better. The fast clamp system makes it so much better and so much easier to use. I've looked at other clamps and thought they looked bulky and awkward. Tama has some amazing clamps and I hope to use more. Use it for cymbals, percussion, toms, whatever. It can do it all.

I bought this setup to hang my Tama metronome on the hi hat stand. But.....I got two different part numbers from Tama for 2 different items. I'm sure it cost me more. I didn't realize you could buy the same 2 items as one item. In stock. It took weeks to get my order as it was not listed in inventory as one item, but as two different items. so.......it's here and I like it. It does the job and to handle a lightweight thing like a Tama metronome, its overkill, but what the heck.

There aren't many things you cannot do with this clamp. It is very easy to attach to any stand or pipe. Mine is being used with the 18" arm to put some bar chimes on my set. Tama invented multi-clamps so you can't go wrong with any of their hardware. There is some slight contention with the wing nut and the cymbal arm at some angles but other than that, a nice product.
