Comments about Sound Percussion SPC16 Pro Cymbal Boom Arm:

These have a rather short vertical post, so make sure it is long enough for your needs. I found them to be perfect for mounting splash cymbals near my hihat. The smaller size keeps the weight down, which is important to me for gigging. There are plenty of angle adjustments, and memory locks are included which makes setup quick and easy.
      Overall, a quality product.

Small cymbal holder with LARGE opportunites!

Comments about Sound Percussion SPC16 Pro Cymbal Boom Arm:

I have recently purchased the Pearl DR-503C rack system and needed cymbal holders to mount low cymbals just above my front toms. I received a Sound Percussion 12 in arm as a package deal for buying a cymbal, and was actually going to resale the arm because all the equipment/hardware on my kit is Pearl. I noted that this arm was the height that I was looking for, so I put it on the kit and started to work with cymbal placement. I ended up liking this arm so much, that I purchased another to mount a large splash on the opposite. For a small arm, it is easy to manipulate, comes packed with memory locks for all moving pieces and is a great height in the stem for mounting to a rack or extension. How many times have you seen people set up racks and have these long down tubes, like big icicles hanging off thier racks? I wanted a professional, even, clean look to my rack without having to cut my tubes, cap the ends and deal with the mess. This is a great small arm with ALOT of options. It looks good, its strong and sturdy, manipulates easily, and while not the cheapest arm out there, loaded with goodies for the price. These two SOund Percussion arms are the ONLY non-Pearl pieces of hardware on my rack/kit for a reason: They perform as they should, priced as they should, and look like they should...GREAT! I gave this item a 9 for 10, being that the only way it could be better was that it was a Pearl product. Buy it, you will have no regrets.
