Keep yourself and your neighbors happy.

Play your drum kit expressively without being loud with Sound Percussion's drum mute set. Fusion Mutes are specifically designed to deliver a great feel, while keeping your practice time quieter.

Most drummers have experienced the problem of noise complaints while practicing in apartments or late at night. Drums are loud and penetrating but Sound Percussion Mutes dampen the sound, yet retain the feel of the drum itself.

The mutes are constructed of an ultrathin material that closely approximates the feel and touch of a stick hitting a drumhead. Immediately, drummers will notice a vast improvement over existing drum mutes and the makeshift use of towels, tape, and blankets. They are a breeze to get up and ready, just place them on the drumheads and cymbals, and play.

The Sound Percussion Fusion Mute Prepack includes: a 22" kick drum mute, 10" tom mute, 12" tom mute, 13" tom mute, two 14" mutes (for floor tom and snare), 16" floor tom mute, plus ride and a hi-hat cymbal mutes.

Features
  • 22" kick mute
  • 10", 12", and 13" tom mutes
  • 14" floor tom mute
  • 16" floor tom mute
  • 14" snare drum mute
  • A ride mute

Best Overall Mutes

Comments about Sound Percussion Total Drum Set Mute Prepack:

I looked at every version of drum mutes, and to me these are the best "all around". You get enough pads that I didn't need to buy anything extra for my 6 piece drum kit, and the cymbal mutes work well to mute them, but everyone's cymbal set up is different so I also use similar cymbal mutes by Musician's Gear, but they're virtually the same. For sound quality try the "sheath" type that are thin and stretch over the cymbals; they are great for that and have much better rebound, but still a little loud
# these are MUTES; made for practice not for sound quality of your kit. They're not going to sound like a dampened drum; they're not "musical" but shouldn't be...they're great for those repetitive linear exercises or to rehearse a "never ending" groove or while you mess up while learning.
# you can hit harder and really dig in without the overtones going on and on, again for practise.
Take them off when you're ready and the improved sound and physical difference you feel makes you better on your set.
Just 2 "con's": There's no "instructions" but the bass mute has elastic straps and pads that are not explained...I guessed and mickeymoused it and it but anybody out there know? Secondly, there is ZERO support from SP website and no reply to my question about the bass pad there either...

Comments about Sound Percussion Total Drum Set Mute Prepack:

it definitely cuts down on the sound, but it does sound terrible with the mutes on, especially the cymbals. Theres a hole in my bass drum mute where the kick hits the pad, and that only happened after two days of playing on it!!! pretty good buy anyway if you're looking to cut down on sound, but im not very pleased with the broken bass drum pad
