great value, great looks
Comments about Sound Percussion 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack:
The SP 5 pc all mahogany shell pack is worth the price. Just replace the factory heads with remo emperor or Evans g2 or any other two ply heads, coated or edge muffed and these drums will sound like ones costing thousands more. They are made so that the shell is slightly smaller than the head so that the head is draped over the shell without touching the edges. This makes them ring out, but you have to control that a little with either muffling or heads that have an edge ring on the inside side.

Sound Percussion 5-Piece Review
Comments about Sound Percussion 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack:
I bought this kit with the intention of a nice little practice kit that sounds good enough to play and not be annoyed with. I'm perfectly satisfied with this kit and highly recommend it! Good: The kit sounds great, and I haven't even tuned it yet. The toms are excellent sounding, although I had to put Remo O rings on them to cut out some of that ring. For a few weeks the heads have held up good to be factory heads. The hardware seems ok, not heavy duty but you get what you pay for, nothing seems to be loose/broken, though considor oiling the tension rod threads soon. Bad: Snare drum. Not really my taste. If you like a snare with lots of bite and pop, this is for you, but i'm more of a "thwack" or dry sound. Even with tuning I can't get it right, so a new head will be needed, but that's fine. The bass drum pedal is sort of hard to press down, though should be an easy fix. 4/5
