The SKB SKB-CV8 Roto-X Cymbal Vault is roto-molded of linear low-density polyethylene with a welded center post. Complete with 4 cymbal pads and a storage pocket, this vault allows cymbals to travel without pressure on the sound edge. Molded with the X pattern so it will stack conveniently with other Roto-X cases. ATA-rated.

I had heard that this cym case was the best around. No doubt about it. Holds my full set of cymbals and had really high quality pads to insert between each cymbal for more secure transport. The strap is the standard SKB strap and it is very strong. Handle is a good size and easy to grip. Not sure why I waited so long to get this. Beats the heck out of all the soft cases I've purchased over the years.

This is the way to go for any gigging drummer who wants the best protection for their precious cymbals. Though a little on the pricey side, it's still well worth it.

I have an old and worn out cymbal bag with too many miles on it. I wanted a hard case with a centered spindle for stability and protection. The SKB cymbal vault wins. Not only does it look cool, it also comes with four padded dividers. And now the handle is molded to last a lifetime. All of my other cases are H and B Enduro. In my opinion, the SKB Roto-X line is far superior.
