Absolutely worth the money
Comments about Simmons DA50 Electronic Drum Set Monitor:
I have an Alesis DM5 kit that I've been playing for a few months now, and until I got the Simmons, I was using a small Crate amp that couldn't handle the power from the module. When I saw the price of the Simmons DA50, it fit my budget, and I figured that it would probably be a lot better, but still just fair in terms of how it sounded. I can honestly say after having it for two weeks now that I am blown away. This thing is impressive! I had no idea that my kit could sound this good! I was happy with the size of it when I first pulled it out of the box, and had it hooked up and ready to go within five minutes. This thing is LOUD! I seriously keep it on about 25% volume when I play and it's plenty loud enough for me. I couldn't believe how awesome the toms and bass sounded, and I play so much more now than I did with the little Crate amp. I recently was over at a buddies house, and had a chance to sit down with his real kit, and there's really not a difference in how our kits sound anymore. I have no regrets about this purchase, and after a good while looking around at prices, this is the site to buy it from. I spent about a week surfing around and trying to find the best deal before I finally felt comfortable buying it from these guys.

Simmons DA50
Comments about Simmons DA50 Electronic Drum Set Monitor:
I bought this drum monitor to use with my Alesis Dm5 kit I bought. I use the electronic set and this monitor for home practice only away from my band. The DA50 is a great little monitor that sounds great and has a lot of useful features. I use the CD input to practice songs, the headphone output is useful if your electronic set doesn't have that option, and the 3 band EQ works as it should. This monitor can get pretty loud, and I would imagine it would work for a small club. Sound quality to my ears is excellent. The monitor also doesn't weight much or take up too much room. Sturdy construction as well. Overall 5 stars from me.
