very lively

Comments about Sabian HHX Stage Crash Cymbal:

This cymbal is the most lively cymbal I have on my set. It explodes with emotion. If you like to play the drums really loud or play rock, then I suggest you pick this one up.

perfect

Comments about Sabian HHX Stage Crash Cymbal:

this is a great cymbal (I have a 17"), its quick punchy powerful, a musical. Also it sounds great with my 16" HHX-plosion and 18" HHX power crashes. I love HHX.

Warm and tasty!

Comments about Sabian HHX Stage Crash Cymbal:

This is the best HH or HHX crash Sabian offers. Some of the other HHXs are a bit too weird (trashy, china sounding, etc). This does the job of providing that dark crash sound. It is medium weight but reacts like a thin crash. When hit hard, it can resonant louder with more projection like a medium crash. Tones are best described as RICH and warm, very SMOOTH and SIMMERING. Nice punchy, relatively quick decay of higher tones. I've owned the Zildjian K custom darks and they simply can not compare to this HHX stage crash (mine is 16").
