great cymbal

By

from edgewater nj

Comments about Sabian HH Raw Bell Dry Ride Cymbal:

This cymbal has a great sound, and is very versatile. It has a nice powerful bell sound but doesn't cut hard enough to be harsh. It's just about right for most situations. The cymbal has very little wash, but just enough to fit in a jazz situation and enough definition to fit in elsewhere. It may not be a perfect replacement if you're used to a traditional washy jazz ride cymbal, but would work well as an alternate ride. It would also do well as a primary ride for someone who plays many different styles. Recommended.

I love my HH raw bell!

By

from Osage City, KS

Comments about Sabian HH Raw Bell Dry Ride Cymbal:

I have a number of ride cymbals and they are chosen with specific styles and venues in mind, but when I just get to cut loose my HH Raw Bell is my go-to cymbal. It sings under any style using any size stick from a light jazz stick to a heavy rock stick, and the bell is its forte (literally!)--loud, clean, clear--it's perfect for intricate bell rhythms. It's a heavy cymbal that produces exactly what a cymbal that weight and size should. Even a shank crash sounds beautiful. If you are going to spend this kind of money, this is definitely a 'best buy!'
