suprisingly dark!!
Comments about Sabian AAX Series Studio Crash Cymbal:
This cymbal, AAX studio crash is 19", is suprisingly dark, but in a good way ! It comes in right between my 18" AAX Dark
crash, slightly lower tone with a little more wash (overtones) and a nice bell for accents and stickwork. However it is slightly brighter than my 18" K Custom Dark crash and less washy than
the K. They blend oohhh so well; along with the 16" & 17" K Custom Hybrids. I'm typically a
Zildjian man, but I am very pleased with these 2 Sabians, they mix well with the K's and cost
less of my hard earned dollars. Sabian did a great job with these!

Excellent
Comments about Sabian AAX Series Studio Crash Cymbal:
As soon as I a bought this and played it with my band I loved its dark tone, I compared it to a Zildjian k and it was even darker. It gave a stand out sound and didn't have much of an overtone. It doesn't give you a "gong" effect. I love the musicality and its great for any style of music. I own the 17'

My Favorite Cymbal Yet!!!
Comments about Sabian AAX Series Studio Crash Cymbal:
I've been playing for about 5 years, and was always a huge Zildjian fan until a friend of mine let me borrow his AAX Studios (16" & 18"). I was so impressed with the action, great overtones, and response (soft and loud) that I sold my Zildjian Cymbals and bought my own AAX Studios!

excellent, stupendous, all that and a bag of chips!
Comments about Sabian AAX Series Studio Crash Cymbal:
I have been playing for over 17 years, and this is a cymbal that I purchased in the 15" size in 1994 or so. This cymbal has out performed zildjian, Paiste and a load of others. This cymbal is the most brilliant, pure, punchy crash cymbal I have ever had. It can be played explosively, or just for accents, but it always cuts through all the noise, and the music at any sound level. I have also played this cymbal in venues from huge to very small and it has never failed me. Score another one for Sabian!!!

Great For Any Style
Comments about Sabian AAX Series Studio Crash Cymbal:
The Sabian AAX studio crash is a great sounding crash. Its loud and wonderful overtones make it stand out in any style of drumming in live or studio situations. The small bell really makes a difference if you hit it gently or hard it will still give you that pure nice ring you want. I would definitely recomend it to any beginner up to advanced.
