I have an 18" and 16" of this cymbal, and both are very nice. I find the 16" has a very warm and bright sound, and adds a nice sound to the set. The 18" is very open and adds a lot of depth to the set. The cymbals also have a very nice finish on them, which looks great under lights.

I got an 18" Stage Crash a while ago to ad to my setup. Since then, I've begun upgrading all my cymbals to the AAX Stage! Completely delicate when you want, or loud and trashy...and that tone is always there in its complexity. I give a thumbs up to all the guys at Sabian!

I have a AAX 17" Stage Crash. Actually, I've had 2. I had one before but it was sold with my drumset. I liked (missed) it so much I bought it again and I don't think I'll ever have a drumset without a 17" AAX Stage crash. They always sound good. They have one of those very classic crash tones. Extremely musical sound that blends seamlessly into the music. Definitely one of the best Sabian crashes.

This is an awesome cymbal. I have a 17 inch version of this cymbal. It sounds awesome live and in the studio. If you want a clear, crisp crash for all occasions, this is it.

My second AAX, an 18" Stage, was just added to my arsenal. Like my review above, for the 16", this cymbal line cuts through with pure tone, soft or loud.

if u play anything from jazz to rock, this is an amazing cymbal, but if u wanna play anything heavier than light rock, be careful. when i bought my 16" crash, i was into alternative rock. But wen i went into heavier music, it just cracked. make sure you know what you r gunna be playing before you buy this cymbal...

I picked up a 16 inch AAX Stage Crash a few months ago. I'm was in the process of upgrading from sheet to cast cymbals. The first thing you notice with this crash is that the tonal quality is superb. The second thing you notice is the consistency of the tone. Loud or soft, the tone is there. If you're a medium to soft player, you'll like the fact that the tone is just as rich and full in low volume situations, as in higher volumes. It also seems to take less effort to coax the tone out of this cymbal. It will project even with a soft stroke. This cymbal is a keeper.

Got the 18" crash, has a nice sound, pretty loud and cuts through good. The bell is sweet on this thing too nice and pingy. And at a good price to boot!
