It's the anytime, anywhere snare!

The RhythmTech Laptop Practice Snare Drum is perfect for unplugged performances, low-volume practice, acoustic rehearsals, and impromptu jams.

The 13" x 1-1/2" RhythmTech Laptop Practice Snare Drum weighs about a pound and incorporates an active snare system. Use the adjustable snare mechanism to loosen or increase tension for a range of response. The Laptop snare captures all the tonal nuances of a standard snare drum when you use brushes and is an excellent practice device to refine your brush technique. The brush sound is so realistic that the Laptop has actually been used as a secret weapon in studio sessions.

RhythmTech Includes a case with the Laptop Practice Snare Drum.

Comments about RhythmTech Laptop Practice Snare Drum:

This item could have been made much better. The rim is made of a cheap aluminum and therefore does not support the head very well. It is not tunable so the feel is like a mushy snare drum. I suppose it would be okay for practicing brushes, but don't believe those who say it can be used for an acoustic gig. The sound quality is not good enough. You could almost tape a snare to a bottom of a loose drum head and get the same sound.

I returned mine the same day it came in the mail.
