I just bought a set of these for my small kit. I used these when I started drumming and decided to try them again. This is "my" sound! Love them! Not as bright or thin as the regular ambassadors which was my main complaint. No wonder as these were what I remember for their sound. Have searched for a long time and tried many brands but never have I felt like it was it. These are it!! If unsure, try one on your snare and you'll see! Great response and softer feel as I play bop, light funk, acoustic ensemble or old rock from 60s. These do it all!!

This thing has blown my mind. I run a small recording studio and tried one on my house snare. It sounds amazing so I now have them on my 13" and 16" toms and the results are the same. Probably my favorite Remo head ever.

Just put this on a Pearl Masters birch shell snare & it sings. I tune high & snappy. Hit it in the dead center it sounds meaty--hit between center & edge & it has nice ring. A+
