Remo's PowerStroke 3 series features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted over-ring. This design creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control. Available in coated or clear with clear dot on top.

    Best Snare Batter head Ever!

    By

    from Undisclosed

Comments about Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated with Dot Batter:

I use these on all my snares. Not matter what the size. They seem to be much more durable than any Evans I have tried. They provied a nice pop and crack, but also with a nice warm and natural sandy sound. They can be tuned down low or up high and still sound great. For me as a hard hitter that loves the low-mid tuned warm snare sound, this head does the trick!

    Best Snare Sound

    By

    from Baldwinsville, NY

Comments about Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated with Dot Batter:

The Remo Powerstroke 3 head (coated, with the dot) gave me the best snare sound by a huge margin. I tried other Remo heads, Evans.. nothing quite like the PS3/Dot. My Sonor 5-piece (natural finish- pretty!) has a complete sound now that I've found my permanent snare head.Recommend for anyone with a wood snare.
