This head is great it is the thickest head I have ever owned. I play really hard and this head is perfect for that and it last's forever. You half to tune it tight though.

The first thing I noticed about this head, is how thick it is. It's the thickest head I've ever played on.To get this head to sound good, you have to tighten it till' you can't tighten anymore.This head is all or nothing. Oh yeah, this head has all the bounce you want and need.You just have to tighten it all the way.Oh yeah.

This is the only Remo head on my set. It's simply amazing. I play anything from hardcore music to slow worship music and its perfect for everything. This is the best snare head I have ever used.

I have played awhile and had beaten the heck out of my snare heads, but after I tried the Emperor X. I LOVED IT!!! It was beautiful, I could beat it to hell and it would still be okay. The best way to describe this head,"a metal drummers calling".

This head is the best head I've ever used. It lasts really long. I've had 1 head on my snare for a really long time, it sounds awesome on a 5.5 inch x 14 inch steel snare tune tight I don't know what yall are talking about when you say it doesn't have bounce, when its tuned tight it has all the bounce in the world. If you like your snare head tight, then this is the head for you.

This is probably the best snare head i've ever used, right now i've got it on my 6x14 tama G-maple and it's got my snare slamming don't listen to the guys that say it'll kill your snare and make it sound boxey that isn't the case at all, but i found out that it works geat on my 6x14 lars diamond plated steel and the G-maple the besti'll never use anything else

I have used this head for about 6 months, and I absolutely love it. It is louder than hell, and flat out sounds great. I have always had trouble tuning my snare until I got this head, it made it so much better. It is perfect for my music punk and metal.

I had the standard pearl drumhead on my snare for a while and my snare echoed alot and sounded pretty bad. I knew that the drums were good just the head was bad, so i got the zildjian emporer x head and it sounds great. I recommend to also get a studio ring just for extra help. Definately worth every penny.
