You Get What You Didn't Pay For
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
I Bought These Heads Because Everyone Was Raving About How Good They Here, So I Figured They Had To Be Good Right? Wrong. 3 Days After I Bought One For My 10" Tom, It Cracked, While I Was Saving For Another One Because I Figured It Was Bad Luck, More Cracks Started To Appear. After I Got Another One For A Different Tom, It Did It Again. The Total Count Was 4 Heads, 3 Toms, All Cracked. Though It Was Only The First Ply, It Still Sounded Like Crap. So I Went With The Ambassador Series. They Have Held Up 2/2.

One of a Kind
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
These drum heads rock!! The sound they produce complaments the snare and cybals in every way, they don't over power (unlike other heads) and give a deep rich tone, once you try these you won't want to go back.

Outstanding heads...........
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
I have used these heads for a couple of years now and have not had to replace any of them. I tune my heads fairly tightly and there are very few if any dents in them. There have been some comments about stick marks with nylon tipped sticks. I have found that Zildjan's nylon tipped sticks DO NOT leave marks; the nylon is hard enough that it does not rub off. Pro-Mark sticks, on the other hand, will mark the heads. The marks do not affect playability but they do affect the appearance. These are such beautiful heads that you don't want to see them all marked up.

they rule!
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
They're the best pinstripes. Plus for remo heads that are double ply, you can't go wrong with these ebony pinstripes. I use em,I love em. They make killer bass drum heads for my smaller 16" bass drums. Playing wide open they produce the perfect match of sound and feel. Also, they stand up to a constant pounding without showing signs of wear.I've tried lots of heads for my bass drums and, for the value I wouldn't use anything else.

Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
I would recommend these heads. There great they give you a nice warm sound it really fills up completely. They have great tone quality. I've had these heads for about 5 years changed them once they are very durable.

Definitely a rock drum head
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
Have covered all toms, tops (pinstripe) and bottoms (ambassador), and bass drums (pinstripe). Bottoms simply rule, for any style. But ebony pinstripe is a very specific drumhead. You'll need ABSOLUTELY no muffling, ever for 16", and if you hate overtones, you'll definitely love these heads. Very durable. Minuses: not as loud as clear pinstripes IMO, and I dislike the bass drum head, it feels like stroking a barrel with the pedal. And forget jazz with these. Pluses: full low end, punchy, the best sound ever. No annoying overtone ring. oh, and of course, they look B-E-A-utiful!!!

I have these heads on an all black Pearl Export set and they make it look like a $5000 set. Great sound for both high and low tones.

awesome
Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Tom Head:
I just got top heads for all my toms. They're deep and don't get pocked up easily, but if you use nylon tips, they get ugly hit marks fast. Not much overtone even without a muffle. Another plus. I'm definitely sticking with Ebony.
