Remo's Ebony Pinstripe heads are made with two (5- and 10-mil) Mylar plies with a measured layer of a ring-reducing agent applied between them at the outer edge of their trademark stripe to dampen high-frequency overtones for warm resonance. Ebony Pinstripe's quick decay makes them ideal heads for the "fat" sounds of rock and R & B and for those who want more low end sounds with moderate attack and response characteristics.

This Remo ProPack set includes 12", 13", and 16" Ebony Pinstripe drumheads. Also included is a 14" Coated Pinstripe snare head.

The only heads I use on my kits

By Maverick7r

from Tallahassee, Fl

Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Drumheads ProPack:

Ever since I first tried these heads at a friends suggestion I have not been let down. I used to have to use alot of muffling on my clear heads but these took all those problems away. Now I acutally like the sound of my drums without muffling!

studio quality

Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Drumheads ProPack:

i bought these heads to replace the stock heads that came on my pearl forum kit, and i could not be more pleased. these heads look and sound amazing. my toms went from sounding like garbage cans to being studio-worthy. i'm actually using rem-O's with these to dampen them even more, even though some people say you don't need them. i like the low, fat sound with quick decay, and these heads deliver. this is why i prefer remo over evans the snare head is an emperor X, and is also a major step up from the stock head. since this head is so thick, it has a very quick decay compared to the ambassador head, which many drummers prefer for studio recording and even live performances. i was a bit concerned that i wouldn't like the sound of the emperor X, but after a week or two of using it, i must say that i am very pleased. because it's so thick, it can really take some abuse. it sounds very professional when matched with these tom heads

Great sound

Comments about Remo Ebony Pinstripe Drumheads ProPack:

I love the ebony pinstripes. They add a certain tone you can't get with any other heads. If you're lookig for the deeper sound without the ring these are for you.
