I was running a pinstriped remo on my bass drum and just couldn't ever get it to sound right and feel good on my foot. I switched to this and right off the bat it not only sound better but feels good on my feet, and i haven't even fine tuned it yet!

This head is simply amazing. It dampens unwanted overtones without making the head sound dead at all. It's very versatile and can be tuned to make a low end boom sound or more of a punch for metal. I have the 22" paired with an Aquarian Regulator reso (small hole) and it sounds great. It can make any old bass drum sound like a million bucks without stuffing any pillows or blankets in it. You definately won't regret buying this head.

The bass head I got with my Pearl Export drum set had a dead sound, there was no life to it. So I bought this remo powerstroke 3 bass head, and I put it on my bass and was AMAZED when I played it, it sounded so good I couldn't stop playing. I give this a 10 out of 10 :) It's a really great drum head!!!

I recently purchased the Verve Vibe Master. It was an awesome set, especially for the price, except for one thing: the bass head. It sounded terrible. I just bought this bass head, and its the best one I've ever heard. It has a very low toned punch, and with the Impact pad that comes with it, I know this head will last for a long time. Trust me here, buy a cheap set and put remo heads on it, and it will sound just as good and better than any drumset you've ever heard before.
