Regal Tip

Impeccable sticks from the name drummers trust.

Made from only the finest American Hickory, with the famous Regal Tip finish, feel, and balance. Joe Calato developed the original nylon tip drum stick over 40 years ago. Regal Tip was the first company to install their own dry kiln so that they could control the manufacturing process from the kiln drying of the wood, to the matching and pairing of sticks.

Calato was also the first to upgrade the quality of the sticks on the market by grading them for straightness of grain, weight, color, and warp, and then match each pair.

Great Sticks Don't under estimate

By Bill Bowman

from Bluefield, WV

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

I grew up playing Regal Sticks. As time passed I used all the other well known brands. I recently bought a pair of the 5B Regal nylon sticks. These sticks are even better than I remember. I rolled them across a surface...they were straight. The feel is very good, great balance, light compared to others, they have worn well, and they sound great. I would recommend these sticks to anyone.

Awesome

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

These are the first sticks I have owned with a finish like these have. I love the tips, they're great. Beautiful sound on rides. I bought these in 7A because I love the feel of them. When I opened the box and pulled them out of the sleeve I fell in love with them. I'm hoping to try some larger diameter sizes though.

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

I've played Regal Tip sticks since I started in 1961! When I took the calf skins off the drums, I started using them. Never found any better!

Awesome sticks

By Mister Man

from Nashville, TN

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

Drumstick finish is a very personal preference. I find that whether I sweat like a dirty monkey or stay dry, the finish on these always gives me an incredible grip. I'm pretty convinced that all of the major manufacturers are equally consistent as far as weight, roundness, etc....so it really comes down to finish. Try a pair out if you haven't yet. No other stick company makes a finish even remotely like this and they've stayed popular throughout the years for good reason.

Feel sooooo good

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

These sticks feel so good in my hands. They balance well and give a responsive feel. They are quick yet allow for good power. I recommend the JC or the Jazz depending on how hard you want to hit your skins.

The best and most durable sticks I have ever owned

By Bruce R.

from Union, NJ

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

I've been using Regal Tips for 30 years. Believe it or not, I have one pair of Regal Tip Jazz sticks that have to be at least 25 years old. I've never had a tip come off or the stick break. They also feel great in your hands because of the finish that they apply. I've used other sticks, but they didn't have the feel or crispness of Regals. They are always my first choice.

Great Sticks... if you're a lighter player

By Duncan

from UK

Comments about Regal Tip American Hickory Drumsticks:

I got a pair of regal tip marching sticks a long time ago, when I was a hard hitter... I used them as rock sticks, but unfortunately they broke.. unlucky. That put me off the brand for a long time.So I saw a pair of Regal Tip 7a's... and I though.. Vic's were too heavy for me (I'm getting into jazz playing, so I need lightness) and so are Zil's... so I bought them.I'm really, really satisfied. Nice and light, and durable. The laquer stops them from slipping out of my hands, which is an issue sometimes as I'm a losse player. Really good definition on the tip, get a great rebound off the ride.On the minus side, I wouldn't play them hard, because of my previous experience, but they don't dent easily so I guess they are pretty durable and it's all in my mind.
