I read a 5 star review on these sticks, in hopes that they would live up to the hype, but alas they did not. They are a good bang for your buck, but they are so slick and don't allow you to get that really solid grip you need for that ultimate feeling of control. If you put some tape or stick grip on them they might do just that. I think it's worth it to pay a little more to get the feel that you want.

Pulse Drum Sticks are execptionaly light and durable. I've been using one pair for a year now and haven't even cracked (note im a hard core drumer and hit the sticks hard; they've gone through some beating). Another great thing about these drum sticks is that they have an extremely low price compared to main brands such as Zildjian, Vic Ferth, and Pro Mark . Another great thing about these drum sticks is that you have the option of purchasing nylon or wood tip sticks without paying more. I would definately reccommend these drum sticks to novice or advanced drummers.
