I purchased the steel 12x5 and wood 10x5 firecracker snaredrum and love them. They have the sound i'm looking for. And i love the crack of them.

This tiny drum really brings it on-stage. It has become one of my favorite side snares. The accents really crack and cut through the mix. It's 10" size allows it to really stand out against my 14" maple snare. Rim shots are gratifying. The chrome also appears to be high quality and cleans up easily. I've even been able to crack this drum down to the point of sounding like a marching snare! It's great for effects when recording. Overall I highly recommend the amount of pop and crack you get for such a low price!

I bought this like 3 months ago and it sounds great! The only problem is the head. i recommend you buy a separate head cause it doesn't last long, but otherwise its awesome, if you're into metal and you like that piercing snare sound this is what you need, just buy a separate head.

I love lots of ring and ear-splitting volume, and this snare DOES NOT disappoint! As a matter of fact, I played a show a week ago, and I wasn't able to wear earplugs as I always do. Now I know why my fellow bandmates whine about the volume, hehe...My only gripe is that the hoop has warped after only 7 months of use. But then again, that's to be expected when you crank the poo out of G2 clear heads, hehe...But anyway, I highly recommend this snare, especially if it's ring and volume you're after.

A very tight, bright snare drum. It sounds really good as an accent snare or a jungle snare drum. Could be dried out with some holes in the head. Steel obviously rings a lot, but still sounds very pleasing and is easy to tweek.

I just bought the Pearl firecracker snare drum and I love it. It has amazing punch and if tuned correctly, will have an obnoxious ring, which is good for Punk or Ska.

I just recently purchased the 12x5 pearl firecracker. I love the nice sharp sound I get out of it. I also like the nice firecracker sound it gives. I would recommend this to any person weather starting out or an experienced drummer.

I just received this in 5X12 size. It is fantastic. I have full set of Masters. This little snare really cracks. You can tune it up or down according to your style. I love it
