I like it now

Comments about Pearl Primero Wood Box Cajon:

When I first purchased this cajon, I was unimpressed. It was very dead sounding, no resonance. I continued to play it however and after about 2 to 3 weeks of me and some others playing on it, it came to life. The resonance is beautiful, the bass is deep and the snares have great snap. This cajon sounds so good when mic'd. We use it at our church and it really has added so much without taking up space. As a drummer, I would recommend this cajon. All I can say is, if your unimpressed at first, keep playing it, it breaks in very nicely. I bought it on the fact that I have been a fan of Pearl for awhile. They did a good job on this one as well.

Not worth a penny...

By Scot S.

Comments about Pearl Primero Wood Box Cajon:

Sent back within ten minutes of opening. Chips and damage on multiple points. Slap plate was warped. There are no screws on the corners to control slap. One big missdrilled hole on the slap plate. Sounded terrible. "Asiatic" Pine is tooooo soft for this kind of instrument.
