Best Hat Stand
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
I've owned or used hi-hat stands from no-name, Sonar, Ludwig, Yamaha, DW, & Pearl (3 models). The Pearl H2000 is my all-time favorite. It is very heavy-duty and stable. It's 2 leg design is stable and adjustable. The feel, sensitivity and power are all totally adjustable via the interchangable cams and other adjustments. I think the rubber "felts" enhance the sound, adding a little clarity when compared to traditional felts. The clutch is top notch. The locking nut won't fall off and the large tightening screw is easy to adjust. The center tube of the clutch is smooth where the top cymbal touches it, so no wear of cymbal against screw threads like many clutches. The clutch also uses a clamping action on the rod, so there is no gouging of the screw into the rod. The retractable spiked feet are very handy and keep the stand from creeping away. I use this stand in the studio and can say that it is very smooth and quiet; no squeaks, rattles, or mechanical noises; just the sound of the cymbals. This is a pro-grade stand, you won't be disappointed.

Great for Smooth Hi Hat Action
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
The H2000 is a really well built stand. The pedal itself is very smooth, and can be adjusted in plenty different ways to get the feel exactly right for you. The 2 leg design is a little less stable than a 3 leg design, but I don't really see my stand falling over unless someone just directly kicks it. Using this stand, I have a lot more control over my hi hat sound. Everything feels much more natural. The chain and pulley design gives you a lot of leverage, so you don't have to work very hard to get the volume you want, and it's also very responsive to low volume playing. The height is easily adjustable, and it has a memory lock in case you need to break down and setup often, or in case you put a lot of weight on your hi hat stand and worry about slipping height. The bottom hat tilter is pretty easy to use, and has a pretty wide range to which you can adjust it. I like that with this hi hat stand, you don't have to buy cymbal felts, since the stand has a built-in cup (which is built to fit the shape of the cymbal bell on the bottom). The clutch is very well built also, with the bottom nut having an extra screw you can tighten with a drumkey to make sure it doesn't slip. I've had lots of clutches slip in the past, which gets annoying because I like to have the tension on my top hi hat at a very particular setting. The rubber pieces used in place of typical felts are nice because they let the top hi hat have a pretty good range of motion. Some people may prefer regular felts though, because the rubber seems to dry out my hi hat sound a little bit (very minor and only the player will possibly notice). A great stand, especially if you can get a good deal on it. But if you're looking to save money, other, cheaper stands would do just as well.

Heavy Hi-Hat
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
Just got one of these Pearl 2000 series Eliminator hi-hat stands and pedal from music123.com here. These is serious stuff kids! Killer hardware by Pearl. These 2000 series hi-hat stands are top-shelf! Beefy as all get out. I honestly don't know how this hardware could be made any better. And the 2000 series Eliminator pedals ... I mean these bad boys have every adjustment you could image and then some. For a few extra bucks, is this Pearl 2000 series hardware worth it? You better believe it is! You thinking about it? Don't hesitate. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.

I finally own the best hi-hat stand.
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
I've played the same Yamaha 800 series hi-hat stand for twenty years now. A year ago I bought the P2000/C bass pedal and I really like it. I'm slowly building a practice kit, which justified my latest purchase. This H2000 stand is really sturdy, adjustable, smooth, cool looking, and an all around good buy. The clutch does not slip at all. I use the blue cam on both my P2000 and new H2000.

Very useful review!!!!! have had stand for over a year.
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
I purchased this stand about a year ago. I noticed the excellent quality of this stand right when I took it out of the box. I noticed that has very useful interchangeable cams. I use this hi-hat stand regularly and have NEVER had any problems with it. I had a old ludwig stand before and it would have problems regularly. Nothing against Ludwig though. 10/10

Pearl H2000/C Eliminator Hi Hat Stand
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
The Eliminator Hi Hat Stand is the best Hi Hat stand that I have ever used. It's so easy to customize. There are four interchangeable cams that gives you four different feels. You can adjust the angle of the footboard and is also easy to change. It was a toss up between this and the DW900 stand. I chose the Pearl because of the easy customization.

Great Stand
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
Comes with a pedal bag, spikes for extra stability, and 4 different tension adjusters for extra adjusting. Smooth and fast, made a huge difference to my hi-hats. Also very easy to adjust the placement and angle of the foot pedal.

This hi hat makes the cymbals "sizzle."
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
Along with my eliminator double bass pedal, the hi hat is wonderful. I'm using Zildjian Z custom hi hat cymbals and they sound great!!!!

The ONLY Hi-Hat stand to buy
Comments about Pearl H2000 Eliminator Hi-Hat Stand:
Without a doubt one of the best hi-hat stands out there. The 2 rotating legs allow for quite a bit of placement no matter where you are. The lack of a third leg allows for easier foot movement when you have multiple pedals like a double bass pedal or a remote hi-hat, or whatever your crazy drummer mind can think up. I use it in conjunction with a Hi-Hat to bass drum attachment because I often play with a two bass drum kit. It works perfectly in just about any situation and is durable and reliable.
