I didn't know what to expect when I bought this set but I was pleasantly surprised. I've had Slingerland, Ludwig drumsets and this set is in my opinion, just as good as those. All the mounts are heavy duty and there are plenty of ways to adjust them to your satisfaction. For the price they're hard to beat.

These drums are great. They play and sound like drums that cost 3 or 4 times as much. The hardware is ok for the price, but the drum sounds great. They have a loud, punchy sound and can rip through any crowd. I am very happy with my set.

I purchased this drumset from my local music store and I must say that it does a pretty good job for being a low-end set. I've upgraded the heads from stock to Evans EC2's (toms), Remo Coated Ambassador (snare) and Evans EMAD (bass drum). Also, I highly recommend purchasing better cymbals because the ones that come with the set are, well, aluminum trash can lids sound better...lol! Overall, great beginner's set! The shells sound great once the heads are in tune.
