Incredible new cymbals from the Swiss master cymbal-makers.

Medium-light crash cymbal with dark body, a full frequency spectrum, and brilliant highs. Very wide range and a complex, pleasing musical mix. Immediate, sensitive response; strong attack; controllable spread; and even, layered fade. The dark crash combines silky, soft qualities with energy and projection for an incredibly versatile application range. The Paiste Signature Dark Cymbals are also extremely well-suited as suspended cymbals and for mallet rolls.

Great Cymbals

Comments about Paiste Signature Series Dark MKI Energy Crash Cymbal:

With Artists like Nat Townsley and Tobias Ralph, how could they not be great? The cymbals are very shimmering and dark (obviously). Very thin cymbal and when hit lightly explodes with color. When hit hard it is a nice cymbal that has a very dark, fast decay. This cymbal is great for funk and jazz and sometimes rock but only in the right places. If you plan on hitting this cymbal hard don't get it.
