don't take it wrong it is a good ride in it's own but it cannot compare to 200 anyone who thinks it will either delusional or a deaftone. As general PST5 are not very melodic and have metallic overtones which may be what you want if you play metal. Medium ride by far is the best of the group, and will hold in it's own when played alone side by K customs. Def head above similarly priced ZBTs and similarly priced Sabin/Zilds entry level cymbals. Almost pro sound for 1/2 price

I was recently suprised when my pastor at church bought this for our kit. I had been playing an old B8 Sabian, and it was not anywhere near this ride. This medium ride is a great cymbal with that "PAISTE" sound.....better than the Alpha line...and almost as good as the 2002 line. Good ping with a tight wash that isn't overwhelming. It is crashable, but only in "louder " situations. If you're in the market for a good all-purpose ride for rock, country, blues, or even gospel, pick up this plate. I've been playing almost 2 decades and have owned many cymbals from all the big 3 and turkish lines....feel I have a pretty good ear for the bronze, and I like this cymbal. If it came in a 22" model I'd get that one too......

This cymbal is great! The sound of the medium ride is great, the bell stands out wonderfully and has the the professional appearance. I have played ride cymbals for begginers and some $300 ride cymbals all around this one is the best. It has a low price which made me think it was trashy but it is the quit opposite, this is a must have cymbal.
