i love it!
Comments about Paiste PST 3 Crash:
I got the 16 inch Crash. It's great. Has a nice ring to it. Great for any type of playing. If you want a cymbal that lasts long, and has great quality, for a cheap price that you can afford...I highly recommend the Paiste PST 3 Crash

Great Cymbals
Comments about Paiste PST 3 Crash:
I got the 16" in the Universal Set; amazing crash. I then bought the 14" to complement the 16" one 9 months ago. I like it a lot, yet it has a very short sustain, especially when playing loud. Great for fast accents or playing a ride pattern in loud music.

Best budget/beginner cymbal (pst 3's) for the $!
Comments about Paiste PST 3 Crash:
Paiste is the best, no contest. Need I say more. Add a Tab for each cymbal company's web site soundroom or go to a music store and hear for yourself. Just my opinion. Ziljian and Sabian are great too. Everybody has different tastes. Pick whatever sounds best to you.

Good cymbal, better price
Comments about Paiste PST 3 Crash:
Very good cymbal. Yes it is brass but it doesn't have that nasty brass sound like others. It has a good explosive sound. It does have a little hum under the sound though. Also I need to point out that it is not as responsive as maybe it could be, you need to hit kinda hard to get a deep crash sound. But it can keep up with the bad boys. It has a very profesional sound. It sounds incredibal for a brass sound.

the picture is different from the real thing
Comments about Paiste PST 3 Crash:
In the picture, the image of the cymbal seems to be dull, and has no shine to it. But when I got the cymbal, it was the brightest cymbal I own and still is.As for being a crash cymbal, well I bought the 14in cymbal and, the sound is very clean, I liked the sustain of the cymbal, I liked the decay of the cymbal. The sustain was fairly quick. But as for the crash sound, I just don't think that this cymbal has enough emphasis, but for 30 bucks, I have one rocking Paiste cymbal.
