Ocheltree

Another masterpiece from the master of custom snare drums.

Renowned drum visionary and drum tech Jeff Ocheltree has once again stormed the world with the Ocheltree Carbon Steel Snare Drum. Having worked with some of the greatest drummers in history - John Bonham, Billy Cobham, Steve Smith and Danny Carey - Jeff harnessed his multiple experiences to design this impressive drum. The carbon steel shell has carefully machined bearing edges and die-cast hoops that set this drum apart from any on the market today. Visually these drums are beautiful; sonically they are dazzling. The unique properties of the carbon steel create an incredibly versatile drum that's as as loud as you could hope for, with articulation that would inspire seasoned jazz veterans.

Masterpiece

Comments about Ocheltree Heavy Metals Carbon Steel Snare Drum:

This is one of the best snaredrums I've ever had or tested. Heavy in every way, as the name describes it(22pounds) but also gentle sounded when pitced down. Baybe not so open as an ordinary stees shell, but even more a controlled, adressed and tight sounded snaredrum. Loud and clear, and a thrill to play. A Masterpiece from a Master drumtech and designer!
