The ultimate drummer's cowbell!

The Kenny Aronoff Artist Series cowbells are available in both 6-1/4" and 8" sizes. Each is hand-hammered and chrome finished. The mounting clamp easily attaches to L-rods, is strong enough to withstand even the hardest hits, and resists loosening. It's the perfect addition to any drum set.

"The 8" model is the ultimate drummer's bell!" says Kenny. "Playing live, it cuts through any sound wall and has a very nice tone. It has outstanding recording characteristics too. I use the 6-1/4" model for percussive overdubs in the studio and for smaller-sized club gigs."

Great professional level cowbell.

Comments about Meinl Kenny Aronoff Steel Bell Series Cowbell:

I am of the opinion that one can never have too many cowbells. Much to my wallets regret. One of my many cowbells is the Meinl Kenny Aronoff hand hammered model. What first struck me was the instruments beauty (I saw it on a wall). It is quite simply the most lovely looking cowbell I've ever seen. Of course I didn't buy it for its looks, I bought it for its high quality sound. It is well made, has a distinctive sound and is generally excellent.I use this in conjunction with my other cowbells, LP Pearl Toca etc, and it fits in nicely. I would like to see a wider range of sizes. Especially larger sizes. I find it too small to use as a main timbale cowbell, but it is good as a mid range cowbell in a salsa group setting. It is a perfect size for drumset playing due to the fact it is not too big and can be easily placed amid many other components. I also find it is a good cowbell for using when playing congas. I can attach it to the rim of a conga and am able to get a nice sound out of it when playing it by hand, as well as with a cowbell stick. To my ears larger cowbells ring too much in that setting.Highly recommended.

AWESOME COWBELL!!!

Comments about Meinl Kenny Aronoff Steel Bell Series Cowbell:

This is a tremendous cowbell. I have had it for 5 months now. It is so durable. I had an LP ridge rider cowbell before, but is broke after 2 months. I assure you that the K.A. signature kicks its butt. This one is much better soundwise. It has the tone that I always wanted. I own both sizes of it (thats how good it is).P.S.: use the 6 1/2" one on a percussion mount. Use the 8" one on a pedal mount. It goes very well using a pedal right next to the hi hat.

Best percussion option.

Comments about Meinl Kenny Aronoff Steel Bell Series Cowbell:

Kenny Aronoff's signature cowbell is a great option for drummers as well as percussionists, and fixed to the bass drum or anywhere on your kit it sounds perfect when keeping time instead of your hi hat or even using it as a effect works. I also use a LP salsa cowbell but Kenny's signature is better quality. I would also recommend the generation X cymbals and the Byzance cymbals. 5 stars.

This is a very nice cowbell!

Comments about Meinl Kenny Aronoff Steel Bell Series Cowbell:

This cowbell came with my "Meinl Classic Series Cymbal Set" cymbals. It is hand-hammered and looks just as good as it sounds. Once you buy a cowbell, you make the step from a boring drummer to an exciting and enjoyable one. Buy a cowbell and a woodblock first, and then buy more drums and cymbals later. I mounted my cowbell and wood block to my ride cymbal with the "Pearl PPS37 L Arm Adapter Cowbell Holder" and it works great. I would try to avoid mounting anything on your bass drum rim or your toms. It gets in the way. Also, buy it here. I've done a lot of research and this site seems to have better prices than most of the others. Good luck with your set and happy drumming!
