Meinl Floatune Wood Djembe 12 3/4 " African Brown

Comments about Meinl Floatune Wood Djembe:

This professional-style drum is everything I had hoped it would be. First of all it is a beautifully crafted instrument and looks great on stage. It is a pleasure to play as its goatskin head responds wonderfully to low range bass hits, medium pitch taps and high-pitched slaps. I play it with an acoustic guitarist as part of a duet act. The drum is big part of the show. Sometimes I play this djembe on a stand, and other times "wear" it with a strap. It is easy to tune with the enclosed drum key. Overall, this drum is as is advertised. I would recommend this djembe to the serious hand percussionist seeking a djembe with high-quality sound, ease of tuning and terrific looks.
