I own a vintage supersensitive. It's the 6.5 one. There is no snare drum I've ever played..ANYWHERE...that I'd prefer over this one. I love it. In recording, with the right amount of compression, it is just incredible. The best snare drum ever made.

An extremely versatile and responsive snare. Fantastic snare sound. The 5" model is very full sounding. If you could only own one snare drum, this would be a great choice.

I use the 6.5" model and I can honestly say that the sound is the finest...whether you play center head for 'fat' or the rimshot for cut/presence, this drum handles every dynamic and offers a remarkable arsenal of sound.
