A winning combination of economy and performance.

These custom fiberglass bongos from Latin Percussion boast Raul Rekow's chosen green sparkle finish. Traditional 7-1/4" & 8-5/8" chrome rims, cast aluminum bottoms, and industry standard 5/16" tuning lugs complete an appealing picture.

Santana's percussionists, Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow, know what it is to rise up from the streets. They know that in today's market many percussionists may never have a chance to purchase expensive signature instruments.

That's why Karl and Raul teamed up with LP to create a reasonably priced, quality line of congas, bongos, and timbales within the proven Matador line. The Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow Matador Line consists of drums the Santana percussionists would happily play themselves. Accordingly, the drums display the same distinctive finishes seen in concert halls when Karl and Raul play with Santana.

If you're in need of a quality set but lack a big budget, this is the pair to order.

close but not the best bang for buck

Comments about LP M200F-KR Raul Rekow Custom Fiberglass Bongos:

The clinic tapes Karl uses on the Matador wooden bongos because they sound much better. Besides real cowhide skins on the Matadors sound better n dull thud sounding (state of the art) man made skins unless you can really hit them hard with technique as the pro's then you can compare, otherwise go with the Matador natural wood. BEST BUY, thank me later.
