Built from kiln-dried, environmentally friendly oak. 25"H with a 12-1/2" natural goatskin head. The rubber nonskid bottom prevents marring floors and keeps the drum in place. Tuning lugs allow you to precisely adjust your tone and even up the head's response. Includes tuning wrench. Ideal for drum circles, gatherings, or just having fun.

These particular drums are pretty good overall. They are very durable. They are light weight and they're not bad looking either. The range of sound that this drum can produce is striking. Unfortunately, the highs to this drum have a metallic sound to them. A sound which doesn't appeal to me. I find it doesn't blend well with other instruments. I would recommend LP's conga and quinto over a djembe.

I have played this drum for nearly two years. It has been problem free. The sound of this drum ranges from a deep cannon boom to a high almost glassy ring. Very versatile. Sounds great sitting and playing or with the drum on a harness and dancing. This drum is light enough to dance with while still having good sustain and volume. Tuning is easy, and the provided wrench provides good leverage.This drum has been well worth the price paid.
