The most playable, comfortable and durable tambourine ever produced. Its unique shape uses natural arm and wrist motions for greater playing ease in all situations. Rounded edges result in a comfortable tambourine for hand-playing and extra durability for drumstick hits. Specially treated steel alloy jingles produce a bright sound that projects. A unique jingle-pinning system ensures jingles never fall out.

Excellent pro level tambourine.

Comments about LP Cyclops Tambourine:

I own many tambourines, 2 of which are LP Cyclops models.Let's start with the hand held brass jingle model.I love this tambourine; it is easy to manipulate, light and well balanced and the jingles have a rich, crisp but warm sound that cuts. It is also a strong tambourine and holds up well to strikes from drumsticks, metal beaters (I often use heavy triangle beaters) and also from other tambourines. I commonly play two tambourines, hitting one against the other and my LP Cyclops have yet to break or crack.I can recommend this tambourine without hesitation.Mounted steel jingle LP Cyclops tambourine. As far as manufacture and sound, this is a high quality tambourine. The steel jingles have a bright and cutting sound. Perfect for mounting on a drumset or percussion table, this tambourine stands up well to strikes with drum sticks, metal beaters and hand strikes. There is just one thing that I can see as being a negative, and it is not the tambourine itself, but rather the eye bolt used to attach it to mounts. In my experience LP eye bolts have a tendency to strip. This results in a mount that can come loose. This is something that can be very annoying during a performance. This is the only negative point against this well made professional level instrument.

Comments about LP Cyclops Tambourine:

I love this tambourine. It has a very nice sound to it, and it was cheap. I mount this on my hi-hat, and I alternate between my hi-hat and the tambourine. As far as the sound goes, it is great. It has a nice, defined, hi-pitched sound. No other tambourine compares to this one. I give it two thumbs up. Great instrument!!!
