I personally like the long arm because it can be used for many various applications. It's strong enough to hold big cymbals and I'd rather have an arm that's too long than too short.

This is a great arm for splashes and so forth, but I personally think that the arm is too long. Other than that, it's perfect.

This arm is perfect for any type of cymbals. Its high quality and is built tough and sturdy. It is definitely worth the money you pay for it and it will last and last. It has a long boom arm and a turnable joint where the arm connects, perfect for what I need. It could probably hold up a ride cymbal if you wanted it to, I am very pleased with the product and if you are on the fence about buying it, DO IT. You will NOT be disappointed.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use it on my Traps A400 rack attached to one of the built in boom arms and it looks like it came with the kit. By the way, Music123 beat all competitor's price.

I use 5 of these in my normal setup. That allows me to only have two cymbal stands to setup and tear down each night. I have a boom stand for my 17" crash, and have two of these branching of of that stand with a 14" crash on the left, and a 10" splash on the right. I have another boom stand on the right hand side with a 16" china on it and I have two more of these arms branching off the left side: one pretty low for my 20" ride, and one higher for a 16" crash. Then I have one more branching off of my tom mount on my kick drum with a 6" ZilBel on it. Just make sure your other stands are stable enough to stay upright and you're good to go. I also have a small jazz setup with an 18" kick with a top mounted tom. I use two more of these arms to hold my ride and crash cymbals off of the tom mount. I also rigged up a remote high hat that clamps onto the rim of my snare. I have no cymbal stands to carry with that kit. Highly recommend buying these. They are inexpensive and very reliable. DO IT!!

I'm mounting a 12" china and a 10" splash on a couple of these clamp arms. They do the job just great. No wobbling or loosening. Very stable.

This cymbal arm is a very simple item that works exactly like you'd hope it would. I use it for a 10" splash and it does a great job, but I have not used it for anything larger than that so I can't give a fair assesment on that. If you just need an attachment arm for a smaller cymbal, this will do the job just fine.

This cymbal arm would have to be one of the best investments I have made towards my drumset. It has a good length, enough to hold my 20" ride, or enough to hold an 8" splash. It offers much flexibility to precisely-position your cymbal you are mounting, a great factor. When you mount this to a stand, make sure the stand can hold the size cymbal you are mounting, plus whatever is on the stand currently, plus make sure the stand will balance according to your playing style, so if you are hitting pretty hard, make sure it does not fall. Stop wondering if this is a good buy, it is very much worth the money.

I got the Sabian b8 complete set for Christmas but didn't have the stands to put everything on yet.The day after Christmas I got a pearl boom stand, pacific straight stand, and 2 of these.They a really heavy duty and perfect for my set upI have a 18 inch crash! On one and it barely moves not to mention the arm is almost all the way out.I use the other one to hold my splash and it works absolutely perfectlyThe arm could be too long for some of you, but was absolutely perfect for me.THIS IS A GOOD INVESTMENT!!!BUY THIS 4 HALF THE PRICE OF A CYMBAL STAND BUT WORKS JUST AS GOOD!BUY THIS!

I thought this was a great cymbal arm for adding on that splash where you could not fit a stand. The arm is a little bit long though.

This arm is very nice. No slipping whatsoever. I've got a 20" heavy ride on one, and it's fine. Sure, the arm is long, but if you don't want it that long, you can get a different boom arm. This is great for adding a cymbal without adding a stand or a clamp and arm!
