What's not to like!
Comments about Gibraltar Cymbal long boom ratchet attachment:
This boom attachment does what it is built to do and being a drummer from the 70's/80's there was not hardware like this around.I wanted to add cymbals to my set up without stands. You can't put large cymbals on this(over 18") but as the picture shows, clamp it to you boom arm and your ready. It's built nice and fits well with my tama hardware.

Not happy at all!
Comments about Gibraltar Cymbal long boom ratchet attachment:
This boom extension is very short. Additionally, the end where you attach to a cymbal stand or boom arm or some other part of your set isn't adjustable, so you are left with something that will barely attach to anything on your set. Very cheaply made, not happy with this product at all.

Good, but a little problem
Comments about Gibraltar Cymbal long boom ratchet attachment:
This is a heavy duty, well made product. My only complaint is that the base clamp is not designed to take anything larger than the advertised 12.7MM, period. It cannot even be modified. So you cannot put it to a standard three leg cymbal stand top boom and aim the Gilbraltar boom over to hold your second cymbal. I ended up putting it on one of my tom posts, off my ball knuckle clamp. (I have Yamahas) It was the only place on my kit where the base clamp would fit, so I could reach the cymbal it holds. It all worked, but beware of the small base clamp size. Check your post and boom sizes on your kit before you buy!
