Comments about DW 3000 Series Double Bass Drum Pedal:
This is an average pedal for a beggining drummer. The double chain adds a lot of stability to the pedal, which is much better than feeling it wobble around with some single chain pedals. The double chain does feel a bit heavier though. This pedal as a whole is fairly heavy feeling, but I think that's good for starting drummers so that muscles can build up. There aren't a whole lot of adjustments to be made on this pedal either, which really makes you just put it on and play. If you're a more experienced drummer and just need a replacement pedal for one that has broken, this is a very good and cheap solution. I did come to find that after a while, the slave pedal would start squeaking. Some oil (NOT WD40!!) usually helped the squeak a lot though.
