Best thing since the quick release cymbal nuts
Comments about Cymbal Crown Quick Release Cymbal Holder:
I use to use the quick release type cymbal nuts because I gig so often, the whole spin-the-wing-nut- until-it-flys-on-the-floor routine was getting old . The quick release type were great but looked bulky and you still had to take them off and on....I guess Im just lazy. Anyway these cymbal crowns are the shiznit. They look really cool and correct with my vintage kits and I haven't had one break on me yet. The down side is the rounded head at the tip was too big to fit the holes of my Zildjian cymbals. I had to file the heads down some and now they work fine. I also found that the rubber pad that the cymbal sits on is flat and only slightly rounded at the edges which creates an unnatural rocking (back and forth) motion of the cymbal when struck. I've gotten use to it but they could improve this product by shaping the rubber pad to be more rounded to match the contour of the cymbal bell. Other than that I LOVE these things!

Saves Time!
Comments about Cymbal Crown Quick Release Cymbal Holder:
I was the drummer who ALWAYS dropped his wing nut from his cymbal stand and then took 5 minutes to find it on the stage, cutting into the sound check time! Not Anymore! The Ahead Cymbal Crowns eliminate the need for wing nuts.Just angle the cymbal onto the hard plastic post and its done! To remove the cymbal, tilt the cymbal at an angle and lift. Serious time savers! The only down side is the durability of these little beauties. They stand up to very hard performance with no troubles. It is during set up/tear down and transport where they seen to break. I get perhaps 4 to 6 months from each one depending on how much travel and the schedule. I just keep 3 or 4 in my tool bag. To me it is worth the price to not waste time and patience with wing nuts!
