The Aquarian super kick-2 is the hands down b-e-s-t. If you've never tried it, do yourself a favor and buy one. It has such a solid thud, you don't need much muffling, if at all. I have it on my Pearl studio masters 18x22, and it sounds like a cannon! If you want to feel your bass drum above the distortion, (you all know what I'm talking about) then you will love this head. It has a wide tuning range and superior feel and really good durability. On the birch it's pretty amazing, loud and deep. I combined it with a kickport on my stock reso head with no muffling. My guitarist can feel me hitting strokes, which makes it easier for him to keep time. Seriously, great drumhead, I'll never play anything else. you can run and tell that, homeboy!

Love this Bass head!! I just gotta fix my res head. Haven't got to mess with the sounds on my new kit yet but on my other 3 kits it sounded amazing! Just got my new kit so I still need to tune them up.

This head brought back the sound I've been searching for, for months! the intergrated dampening system takes away higher over- tones often found on less expensive kits,and gives you a full sound that punches through with minimal effort. Would I buy another? Without hesitation!

I bought one of these heads last may at a local dealer. I have peavy radial kit,and I thought it sounded awsome. Last week during practice I went through the first layer.It didnt last two months

I put one of these on my Tama kick drum about 15 years ago; at that time the punk band I played in practiced 2 to 4 times a week. Took a break for a couple of years with minimal playing, then got back into it 4 years ago, playing once a week. The Super Kick still sounds great! I bought a replacement 4 years ago, but still haven't put it on since the first one still sounds so good. Gives a great, punchy sound with no damping needed.

Perfect Bottom End, Punch, & Boom. No Overtones. With no need for other dampening when used with Aquarian Regulator resonant (front) head. I also have one ready as a spare.
