These instantly improved the sound of my drums. I am most impressed with the sound of my snare, which went from a almost muffled ringing to a nice focused crisp sound. Great on the toms too.

I've got a ludwig drumset with evan heads. I've tried all different tuning, but NEVERRR could I get that great, deep, fat sound I wanted. Put these on my to rack toms and floor tom. I now have that sound. Snare is optional. Some people like, some don't. I'm so-so with snare. Hope this helped :]

      Authentically phenomenal.

This has to be the best investment I have ever put into my set. Okay, at first I truly was skeptical... "How can plastic rings make such a big difference? Hah! This is sham or the installation prevents usual playing." WRONG! These suckers literally just sit on your drum, don't get in the way, and you can even hit them without affecting your sound (besides in a positive way). They make your set sound professional, I was so impressed I curiously dug out my stock heads and even they sounded multitudes better with the rings. Wow Aquarian, this has to be the greatest product you've ever invented.... I applaud you. Seriously - the sound goes from ringing and overtoned to perfect and tuned.

these things r great they make a cheap set like my Pulse set sound amazing. but the only prob is ifu dont tune ur drum right as in like each knob turned to the same amount then it will make a annoying ring after the hit.

      Amazing

Comments about Aquarian Studio Rings Set #1 - 12",13",14",16":

I bought these for my drumset about a year ago, and I was shocked... The noisy ring of my snare drum went to a short, sharp attack by just adding one ring! Plus the toms sounded much more professional without as much noisy overtones. Simply a must-have if you want that studio drum set sound!

When I bought these things, I couldn't wait to try em out. They sounded great on my Tama rockstar! Especially on my snare. The toms sound absolutely amazing. A must buy for any drummer who wants to dampen. I heard the moon gel were good but went with these instead. Great job Aquarian!

I bought this as a last resort to see if I could get my 200 dollar drumset to sound anything but hopelessly crappy when I put them on and played some tom beats I was amazed on how good the made them sound the rings stay on and work no matter what any one says.

They make a world of difference in regard to handling the overtones and ringing, especially on toms.

      Very good

Comments about Aquarian Studio Rings Set #1 - 12",13",14",16":

Two words, very good. I am a happy, one month owner of a Tama Swingstar 5-piece rdy-to-rock kit. I bought these rings because I was looking for a way to muffle the overtones coming from the Tama brand snare and tom tom heads which have no muffling. The 14" snare ring is excellent. It removes all the "poink" leaving a very satisfying, quick crack. I was completely amazed at how these thin little rings made such a difference. Once I got used to the sound, it was great. Now my toms sound too loud without them. I can't see how some people can stack 2 rings on a tom tom though. One is more than enough, in fact I wish one ring would do a little less muffling. Excellent product, easy to install(just rest on top of snare, toms). worth the money? yes.
