OMG
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
I purchased a full set of these heads about 4 months ago for everything except my snare (which I use an Evans G2) and my kick. These heads are the best sounding heads I have ever used. They are full, deep and thunderous. I love the fact that they are designed for loose tuning. I am going to purchase one of these heads for my kick drum. I have been playing drums over 35 yrs. and I have always used Evans heads, this is the first time I've used Aquarian, because I always thought that Aquarian heads were super thin and would not supply the sound I wanted. But these two ply heads are freakin' awesome, and they DO NOT need any other muffeling what-so-ever. I would suggest to any drummer to take a listen, YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED!!!, I was.

Deep low tones with durability
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
After 75 to 100 gigs and nearly 2 years, still not a single dent. A+ for durability. I play a Yamaha Al Fosater Sr Hipgig kit with ad-on toms and these are by far the best sounding tom heads for my drums. Especially mic'd up with my Audix D2's. A+ for tone quality. Live and studio. If you like deep toned boomy toms without the ring, these are for you. They are made for low tuning, so don't over tighten or they get pingy. Around the 50to55 range with a Tama Tention Watch tuner. I'm now buying my 2nd set of the Performance 2's. It seems that after about 1 1/2 years they start getting a little ringy and hard to tune. I love 'em.

greatest investment for your drum kit!
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
I bought these and have had them for about a year! They are extremely heavy and sound deeper than most heads. Great for rock, jazz...whatever you want to play! They are a must have!

Simply amazing
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
These heads are amazing. I've had the same 3 (12", 13", 16") for about a year and a half, and they still sound great. Just as they claim, they give you a fat, low sound. I am a very hard hitter, and I use my toms a lot in my songs, but these things just will not die! So if you need a great sounding, long lasting head, BUY THESE.

Performance 2 heads can save your life!!!
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
After trying out the Aquarian Performance II heads, I can't believe it!!! Most of the time, tom heads are split in two categories: 1./Single ply heads that have great tones, but not so great durability. 2./Double ply heads that have decent durability, but muffled flat tones that not so many people can stand to hear. The Performance II is the perfect combination. Very durable, easily tuned, great low full tone, and the best drumhead value for the money ever. These heads are worth $1 million. But thankfully, we can get them here at a price anyone can afford. These heads are a God send!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Performance II's are Not Bad
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
I have played Aquarian heads for the past 4 years, mainly the studio X's with and without the powerdot. These heads really cut down overtones. The tone isn't as warm and open as I am used to with the studio X's. The Performance II's hold pitch really nicely which allowed me to find intervals with these easily. I got nice low pitches with the Perf. II's, ones that I couldn't get sound good with Studio X's. Overall a great 2-ply drumhead, I just didn't care for the tone that much.

Amazing
Comments about Aquarian Performance II Drumhead:
These Aquarians are like no other head I have ever heard. They are very cheap, and the make even the worst toms sound like God. And it does just what it says, giving you that low sound you could never quite get on your own. Simple amazing heads. Good Job Aquarian
