Good deal for basic pads but not with a Yamaha module.

Comments about Alesis RealHead Dual-Zone Pad:

I bought these pads to trigger a Yamaha DTxploer module. This was to augment my acoustic kit and give me access to some different sounds (percussion, techno etc) The pads work well on the main trigger but the secondary trigger does not fire unless i really hit the pad hard. (like denting and breaking sticks hard) I've done some reasearch and the dula trigger in the real head does not play nice with the Yamaha. Totally my fault I should have researched this before I go them. That said as a single trigger pad they work extremely well. The feel when you are playing them is a bit "solid" and I'm not sure I would want to play them as a full time kit but as added percussion they are really good. and you can't beat the price.
