I play Rock and Jazz and I did not even consider using these for jazz because they are so big and heavy. I was really surprised at how responsive these were off the cymbals and snare. I still play with "toothpicks" for jazz, but I would have no problem using these in a pinch. The trade-off between responsiveness and power does not seem to apply to these because I also get all of the volume I need for the rock gigs. Great stick!

These are amazing sticks. Definitely a must buy if you're after ahead sticks. Tommy Lee studio and concert sticks are shear brutal force and quality.

these drumsticks are the best money can buy, I've had my tommy lee studio drumsticks for 4 or 5 years, and they have not broken once, and i play the hell out of my drums. if your looking for a sweet pair of drumsticks, look no further!!!!!
