I recently bought this item, and it's pretty cool. Definitely good quality for its price. It may lack a couple of options or knobs that the higher budget ones have, but if this is around in your price range, by all means get it. I tested it out by running a mic through it to my sound card that was up against my guitar amp, and the sound came out beautiful and the distortion was clear cutting. The thing that was surprising was that the amp was a Peavey Rage158. I never thought it could reproduce such a clean sound. So overall, not the most flashy thing, or most option oriented thing, only 2 channels, but then again, very low price, and nice compression, not noisy at all, and both XLR and 1/4 inputs and outputs gives you the possibility of miking an amp, and running a straight 1/4 into the other input to use as a line-in recording, providing you have an amp head to do that, or something along those lines. While that might not be an extravagant feature to some, remember this thing costs 150 bucks.
