Selectable polar patterns for stage or studio!

The AKG C 4000 B Stage & Studio Condenser Microphone is the only electret dual large-diaphragm transducer mic in the world, and a versatile, cost-efficient tool for high-quality recording. Based on the famous Solid Tube with a similar sound, the AKG C4000 B Mic uses a transistorized impedance converter/pre-amp instead of a tube circuit. Its transformerless output stage ensures exceptionally accurate low-frequency response. The AKG C 4000 B is affordably priced to make it attractive mainly for small home and project studios. Its design provides 3 different polar patterns (omni, cardioid, and hypercardioid) selectable on the mic, making it suitable for many applications, even live sound. Features pre-attenuation pad switching and a bass-cut filter for suppressing low-frequency noise.
Requires phantom power.

This mic is unbelievably clean and so easy to get up front Vocals with!!!!

Comments about AKG C 4000 B Stage and Studio Condenser Microphone:

I am amazed at the quality of this mic. It is so clean and so easy to get an up front lead vocal with. You do not need to peg your preamp or even get close to to -10dB input to get a clean loud vocal with a nice high end finish. You can color your vocal with your preamp or effects after the MIC. I haven't even experimented with the omni or the super cardioid switches yet!!
