maybe i'm too picky

By Joel-_trZ7

from texas

I have had this guitar for about a year and it is truly a beautiful guitar that almost plays itself. The action is superb right out of the box. In just the year that I have owned it, it sounds better (unplugged ) now than it did when I first got it. The resonance is great!. The only thing I am disappointed in is the Fishman Electronics. Unplugged, you can hardly believe your ears. Plugged to an amp...any kind of amp...if your as picky as me, you'll be disappointed. The lows are not full and boomy and seems on the tinny side. I have read the reviews the this guitar sounds as good as a Taylor, and unplugged, it comes really close. Close enough that it's not worth the extra money you'll pay for the Taylor. And, the Breedlove, in my opinion, is much nicer looking than the Taylor. The Taylor 114 CE or the 310 CE is in the same price range as this guitar, and I wish I could trade the Breedlove for one. The absolute best electronics I have heard on any guitar (and I cant think of what they are called) is on the Seagull lines

Great sound, Small Price

By Jake Edwards

from Elkhorn Wisconsin

I have owned 3 different guitars. The Breedlove by far was the best I played. This guitar could top a lot of competing brands. Before buying this guitar I tried different guitars from Martin to Taylor, the Breedlove was the last one I tried and immediately the sound was eye catching. The guitar itself was eye catching. When taken on stage this guitar just wows the audience because its natural and radiant sound. I would recommend this guitar to someone who wants a good bang for your buck. You wont think twice about buying a different guitar.
