Comments about Warburton Flugelhorn Mouthpieces:
For many years I've tried different mouthpieces for trumpet and flugelhorn, and have landed, I hope for the last time, on a Bach 3 for my Bach Stradivarius trumpet (recommended by Chris Botti, whose playing and sound are astonishing); I have a Bach 3 flugelhorn mouthpiece that is near to perfection, but the Warburton-Oviedo 4FLX is perfection. It allows me to achieve a sound on my Bach Stradivarius flugelhorn that is at once cool and warm; endurance and range are improved too, but it is the sound, nuance and centering that have made a believer out of me. Dick Akright of Best Music in Oakland CA said to me, 'Try this one!', and I did, and I have Dick Akright and Warburton to thank for the pleasure!
