CHRISTIAN LINDBERG TROMBONE MOUTHPIECE
Mouthpiece rims are sized in close relation to each other, so that changing from one to another is extremely comfortable. For example, the 13CL alto mouthpiece is specifically designed to ease the transition to and from the 2CL or 4CL large bore tenor mouthpiece. Similarly, the 15CL alto mouthpiece makes it easy to switch back and forth from the 5CL large bore tenor mouthpiece. The Lindberg cup rim is slightly thinner than on other brands, which makes flexibility and movement from top to bottom register easier. This moutpiece resonates easier than the bach mouthpieces. This is silver, and it's just plain amazing. The high notes don't take alot of effort to sound. C above middle C to the next D are easy. I'm working on going further. The mouthpiece sells for a good price. I have not regrets.

I am playing a Shires .547 trombone with F attachment using a #5 Griego mouthpiece. This mouth piece helps a warm tone and is good for bass trombone, and middle/lower parts in orchestras and jazz/concert bands. However, when playing 1st trombone in a concert band I couldn't get the brilliant highs I wanted. So, when I read the specs on the 5CL I was very interested and happy to report it plays as advertised. I now can get brilliant highs and a satisfactory middle range and get into low notes very easily. I like both mouthpieces very much.
