Just got my hands on one set of slide-o-mix lubricant. I just use the small bottle for the stockings and the larger one for the top part of the slide (like instructed, on a clean trombone as well), add some water (not necessarily needed though) and it WORKS! I've tried trombotine and superslick, both are pretty horrible compared to this. Simply simple, and simply successful. slide is ever smooth on my bach 42g (which has quite some dents on the slide...)

I have used just about every kind of oil and cream there is, until a friend offered I use Slide-O-Mix... I have a pretty tight fit Nickel slide, but this stuff is amazing and works better than anything!!! And if you continue to use it, it rarely needs re-applying, just some squirts of water and your slide runs perfect! Well worth the money!!

i was forced to use this slide greace stuff because no one had this stuff, but when i got a chance to play it on my band dirrectors trombone it was a dream. i suggest this for any level of player. don't give beginers the slide greace or trombatine or what ever else is out there, use this.

There is no better lubricant out there! Just be sure to keep a water bottle handy which is a small price to pay! Also, you don't need to clean your slide before putting more on!

I've been using it for about 5 years but it is the best I have ever used. I will never switch again. No matter what condition your slide is in if you follow the directions right this stuff rocks you'll be making them slight slide ajustments with ease!

The slide o mix is great. Your slide moves better with this than it probably did brand new. Even the trombone slide I have with 5-6 dents in it moved very well with slide o mix. Great product and is worth every penny.

It is true that the other marketed Lubes work sufficiently, however none will EVER compare to Slide-O-Mix! I play principal trombone in the university orchestra and as such, I need a "pee-shooter" horn for the insane high passages, on top of the Symphonic horn. The King 2B I own is post-1960's and the slide is in rough shape. It was always sticky no matter how many acid-baths, cleanings or re-lubing I had done to it. My Conn88H is also old and needed some love. So I bought Slide-O-Mix... I am not lying; my horns' slides ARE LIKE BRAND NEW!!!! I will never go back. This is a superior product and not as costly as you may think.... (re-application is very minimal).

I have tried so many different types of slide lubricant, and this honestly is just amazing! Every trombonist should use this and get the best of the slide on their instrument as it will transform any slide!

This was first shown to me by my band teacher. He had just got it, so he shared with some of us. It was WONDERFUL. After you find the correct proportions it simply glides. (No more excuses for having a rough slide!) About a week later that I got some for myself. I've been using the same bottle for a year, and there is still a lot left. A good value, really only a little over a dollar per month of use.
