Comments about Micro Trombone Cleaning Snake:
The brush snake system is my favorite. Keep in mind, however, that if you are buying the snake cleaner for a trombone slide, consider buying the longer version. The regular length is not long enough to have a complete trip through the slide. OK, common sense says that a longer snake brush cleaner only presents a dirty brush to grab while the remaining clean end is pulled into the slide. But it is nice to have the option, and the shorter snake has to be pulled out and reinserted into the other slide, anyway, to complete the cleaning. And.... don't buy the plastic coated version. It cost more, is heavier, and becomes a tube that holds what you just took out of the slide ... unless you are into making bio-slide oil.
